It’s time for a new year! We can all agree that 2021 couldn’t have gotten here any sooner. While making business projections for this year could prove to be difficult, taking time out now to think through what may unfold and how your company will react or adjust should be a top priority. We chose to highlight all that we had been up to in the past year with a showreel.

Creating a digital video strategy is a great place to start. It’s an efficient way to get in front of your target audience. Video can increase engagement while educating your clients. According to HubSpot, 81% of businesses use video as a marketing tool — up from 63% over the last year. Here are three tactics to use:

1. Stop and Take Notice

Identify the goals that you have for 2021. Pick at least one or two big picture ideas that can help propel your company toward success. Whether it’s better communication or bringing awareness to your website to increase sales, setting goals is an important step.

2. Concept Meet Goal

Write your ideas down. Stick to your brand guidelines and messaging. Let your creative agency get to work. They’ll be able to come up with several ideas to execute your vision, but you have to give them the tools to help you. After all, a vision without a strategy remains an illusion.

3. Ready, Set Go!

Think of other ways to reinforce your message, as well as what platforms you can utilize for digital videos. Use this as the launch to a new “campaign” or to propel things you have already set into motion.

Video marketing definitely isn’t going anywhere. Navigating 2021 will require flexibility and focus but having a plan and strategy for your content will lay the foundation for a successful year.
