Ethos was designed because we wanted to create a different kind of agency. One where team members regard each other as family. Everyone has a voice. Clients know we will always do everything in our power to over deliver. That we will work for them as if we were partners in their company. It’s about commitment, loving what we do, and genuinely caring.
A fast response time and direct collaboration with the strategic and creative teams producing the work.

Christine has nearly 20 years of international experience in art and creative direction at major advertising and publishing agencies. She takes a collaborative approach to design and enjoys being able to help clients tell their stories visually. Christine has a secret talent for finding peoples’ celebrity dopplegangers. Oh, and if you’re curious about the last name: How you spell it is how you say it: “X-oh-ee-nis.“
Motto: “Let no one walk through your mind, or your office, with their dirty feet.”
Erica has more than a decade of experience working in design for major consumer brands and large non-profit organizations. Erica has an unparalleled work ethic and is lightning fast, and she has a keen design sensibility to match. When Erica is not cheering on the Carolina Panthers, she also likes to binge watch her favorite TV shows and check out some live music. Fun fact: Erica is named for a famous soap opera character. Can you guess who?
Motto: “There’s no secret to success–it requires nothing more than hard work and a case of diet soda.”
A fan of a challenge, and no stranger to working hard, Julia’s excited to utilize her degrees in advertising and graphic design on a daily basis. Before joining Ethos, she operated her own custom invitation business for eight years. When she isn’t puzzling out a layout dilemma and learning new design tools and tricks, Julia is busy giving back. Her community service includes volunteering with the local police department among other organizations.
Motto: “Good things come to those who hustle.”
Pushing creative limits is Zach Eller’s inspiration. That attitude dovetails perfectly with his workplace goal of growing as a designer overall to gain a wide range of experience and exposure to a variety of projects. Zach’s focus is on web design, photo/video and graphic design, areas he explored prior to Ethos both as a freelancer and as a graphic designer at Sodexo. When he’s not testing his design limits, Zach likes traveling, working out and cars.
Motto: “Don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits!”
Jacob Steinberg is currently a senior at Elon University and is eager to gain as much experience in project management as he can. He is excited to use all of the skills and knowledge he has been learning throughout his classes in a creative work environment. Before Ethos, Jake was a summer camp counselor in between school years. When he is not at work, Jake likes spending time at his other job as a shift leader at Mimi’s Pizza.
Motto: “When nothing goes right… go left.”
Gabriella is an inventive and well-rounded designer with a passion for web design and typography. She likes being able to combine beautiful aesthetics with functionality for the web. She’s earned a BFA in New Media & Design and has years of experience using her creative talents in the industry. Combine that with a strong work ethic and a knack for problem solving, her work truly speaks for itself.
Motto: “Do it with passion or not at all.”
With an MFA in creative writing, Ginny thrives on exploring new topics and helping clients tell their stories through the written word. More than 25 publications have regularly featured Ginny’s work, and she has nearly 20 years of experience writing and editing for corporate clients. Happy to debate the intricacies of sentence structure, Ginny enjoys going to the movies with her family, cooking and, of course, reading.
Motto: “Don’t sweat the small stuff. Except when it comes to using commas properly.”
Chris is a collaborative designer and art director with 25+ years of experience, delivering both print and digital content to a variety of clients. He shepherded the AAA Living travel magazine (5.1 million circulation) for nearly 10 years, where his work on the print—and interactive iPad edition—garnered more than 30 industry awards. Chris has also turned his passion for music (he was in a band, natch!) and comics into steady freelance gigs both designing albums and a role as art director of NC Comicon.
Motto: “Try to believe though the going gets rough that you gotta hang tough to make it.”
