April Geirman
Greiman changed 21st century graphic design by using computers to create. The American transmedia designer studied at what is now known as the Basel School of Design in Basel, Switzerland, and introduced the ‘New Wave’ design style to the U.S. upon her return to the states in 1976. Greiman was instrumental in graphic design embracing technology in the 1980s. Prior to her, computers were only used for information processing, not designing.
